Wireless Application Protocol or WAP was hyped at the time of its introduction, leading users to expect WAP to have the performance of the Web... In terms of speed, ease of use, appearance, and interoperability, the reality fell far short of expectations.However, I believe that we still need to see a lot more sites that will include this medium of accessibility to information. Personally I would love to see more sites like the one that I was looking for yesterday, a site where you can do an on-line query to a dictionary or a translation service.
